Hortex Moments – packaging design for a natural dessert
Psychologists say that to preserve your resources, you need to indulge in small joys every day. Hortex decided to transform this idea into a product: natural berries covered in chocolate and preserved using a delicate freezing method. This is a new format for the market: not ice cream, not a sweet, but a light frozen dessert that is carving out its own niche.

NAMING. Moments is a story about short, personal pleasures that can be easily incorporated into everyday life. Little fragments of the day when you can pause, breathe, choose your favorite chocolate-covered berry, and indulge a little more.
PACKAGING DESIGN. We strove to create a visual language that conveys the feeling of a "natural dessert"—not bright and flashy, but aesthetically pleasing, tactile, and evoking a premium taste.
Key Solutions:
1. The centerpiece of the packaging is a three-dimensional berry covered in chocolate. We made it as appetizing as possible: the shine of the chocolate, the structure of the berry, and the dynamic flow of the coating. The visuals work like "one second before the bite."
2. The backgrounds are designed to immediately set the mood of the dessert: white and dark chocolate. The packaging color helps distinguish the SKUs in the refrigerated chest while simultaneously supporting the premium character of the line.
3. Pictograms explain the natural ingredients and freezing characteristics – this provides a rational argument alongside the emotionally powerful visual.
Hortex Moments are berries that retain their freshness and flavor thanks to a gentle freezing technology. They're easy to bite straight from the freezer, making them a 100% natural alternative to ice cream. But the real "moment" arrives after 10 minutes: the berries thaw, become soft and refreshing, literally returning to their natural state. This turns tasting into a small ritual – simple, yet surprisingly emotional.
