Velmi – packaging shape and design
We faced a complex task: developing positioning, naming, bottle shape, and label design for a new brand of artesian water. It was important to emphasize the water's natural origin, the uniqueness of its source, and its cultural connection to Russian history and aesthetics.

NAMING. The brand name "Velmi" comes from the Old Slavic word "Vel'mi," meaning "very." This approach evokes an authentic Russian atmosphere and is easily transliterated into Latin, which is important for tourists and the international market.
BOTTLE SHAPE DEVELOPMENT. The PET bottle shape was designed with an emphasis on classic Russian aesthetics: the domed top recalls elements of ancient Russian architecture, while the minimalist ring-shaped decoration with the brand name emphasizes the product's premium quality.
LABEL DESIGN. The label combines a transparent base with a double layer of white ink for brightness. The central element is an image of a flying owl, a symbol of authentic wildlife and the coat of arms of the town of Kirzhach, near which the water source is located. The circular design of the label echoes the domed shape of the bottle and enhances the harmonious perception of the product.
RESULT. We've created a new drinking water brand with a clear positioning and a unique visual identity. The aesthetics and design reflect Russian culture and emphasize the natural origins of the water. A flexible system of visual elements adapts to various media and marketing materials.
